Just like Runabout (Over-Run), this guy looks fantastic.

Despite FunPub's flubbing on the order side of these two, they certainly knocked both figures out of the park when it comes to aesthetic and quality.

i sure hope so... last we knew, the plan was still before Botcon... i kinda wonder if they're on the boat with the rest of the Runamucks and SG Drifts... hopefully we find out soon...

while that's entirely possible, i kinda doubt it... Ben's been doing this for years, as others have pointed out, and just seems to be an advisor. the club probably had a few samples in hand, so they sent them to those advisors, one of whom does great pictorial reviews... now, i'd also like to see Peaugh get one early, to video review, but i don't think the club works with him, so they might not even know who is is on the reviewer level...

yeah... that's what I wanted to see too... pretty crazy that this is the 100th FP toy too, I love it... can't wait to get this guy in hand...

i doubt it'll take them until September to get them shipped out, even for international members. and the problem with any random member is what if they don't do reviews? i certainly don't know how to take great photos, and while i'd like to try video reviews someday, that's a lot of work that i don't have time for, so someone with experience and the time makes far more sense. hopefully you're order will ship shortly after they get the rest of the figures in from China...

but... then they'd just be Tracks with a new head... what i would've loved to seen, but possibly wouldn't have worked due to molding, is for one of them to use Tracks front, the other Wheeljacks, same with the rear end, but swap them, so Tracks front with Wheeljacks rear, and vice versa, so that when you put Tracks, Wheeljack, Runabout and Runamuck together, you'd have 4 different, but similar looking cars... but that'd have to be a nightmare to accomplish as far as creating the actual toys...

Yep. Not as prominent as it used to be in the fandom nowadays, but it's still around.

To be fair... when was the last time Ben Yee had a review that had anything significantly negative to say about any figure?

Heh - point. He doesn't tend to have bad things to say.

But then, I kinda have the same issue when I review stuff because I like a lot of things.

I was actually thinking "Positive spin" much more as "Now that the mammoth complain-fest thread is locked, let's show this figure to get some positive vibes and just maybe score those last minute on the fence about renewing guys.,..without showing it ourselves because then people will want to know when it's shipping" :p  rather than any thought that Ben would say anything negative about it.

NOT that I for a minute believe it! Just a response to people talking about him being a "FP insider"

well, considering the review was posted with about an hour left to get people to join, i kinda doubt it was a last ditch effort... had the review been posted a few days ago, i'd buy that story a whole lot more.

Me too, but there's a lot of "tin foil hat" conspiracy theories around lately :p

I kinda thought about him being in the "inner circle" as you speak, but not so much of what you are implying, but just as an explanation as to why he has this figure already and I don't.

Whatever difference in the white is barely noticeable in person. At least to me.

I was actually going to ask what the difference was because I don't see it. But maybe it's my work computers screen... It all looks the same white to me...

I figured as much. Lighting from a camera flash or bright light sources tends to magnify small differences quite a bit, I've noticed.

I have hopes that this means this figure will come in very soon. IMO he and his brother are the best the club has produced. I just can't give enough kudos to them.

Ben has an excellent site, one of the first Transformer websites I checked out when I got back into collecting, somewhere around 1998 or 1999 I think? Superb review.
