No one liked him much before anyways, except for one mech who respected him very much. That's a little sub-plot that will come soon, but not tonight! Sorry that it's been so long since the last update, and that I've ind of disappeared from here (I've neglected posting in other people's comics in the past week or so), but I've been busy recently. I'm getting back into the swing of things again, though. Secondly, I might be without power for a few days (hopefully not any longer) do to hurricane Ike, so I'm just going to put out 18 pages of comic since the next update might be late again, because the lack of power means that I won't be able to work on future updates. :Issue one, part five:
Temporary Statis Lock for Primal...I wonder how long. So Megatron acts like a real T-Rex it beast mode and has limited control. That's pretty cool! I wonder if Megatron has control over his right hand. Are you doing this out side? I see grass. I'd probably never do that. Nice effects too!
Again, the outside landscape just makes it all the more believable. Interesting seeing the feral side of Megatron attempting to take over. Is this going to be with all the Beast warriors, or just him, I wonder. And rather glad to see Terrorsaur lose.
So Punch is having Macbeth style visions...and Megatron has psyco-killer voices in his head. Interesting. Where's a decent cyber-therapist when you need one?
Also, sorry for the double post, but I've been re-reading the strip from the start, and I've noticed that in some of the action panels I have a hard time working out what's going on. For example, in the recent strip where the Pred loses his arm, it took a bit of squinting to work out what was happening. That might be down to my unfamiliarity with the toys (don't have any Beast Wars figures) but I think if it was slightly less zoomed in, it might be a bit clearer? Just a helpful Feel free to ignore. I'm still enjoying the strip.
First, thank you to everyone that read! Glad you like it! The idea didn't come to me until the later stages of this issue, but it's since become an important plot point that will have major consequences around the end of issue four, which itself is about the end of "Series One" of the comic. The right hand does contain the beast brain, so anything’s possible.
Sorry for the delay; I've been busty. Updates should come more frequently from now on. That's what I want to do with this reboot: Take things from other (real) series, twist them, and then incorporate them into the comic. Issue two, "Feral Impulses", Part One: (Five pages)
Feral indeed! That's some good stuff there, I don't recall if in the tv show they ever indicated that they could eat organic matter for energy. I know Tarantulas caught stuff but I mean that in a bold announcement kinda thing. IE: they made it abundantly clear that their beast modes allowed for some healing, I don't recall it being made 'abundantly clear' about the matter processing. Point is: it really makes them true beasts if they must stop what they're doing to go hunt down some food for a recharge.
Well, it'd still make some more sense on the Beast Modes. Anyways, I really liked the dense air in this chapter One could really imagine oneself to be in the shoes of Punch there as Megatron was makin' things clear to him XD
