In the Agenda part 1, the preds were taken out by Ravage's invisible cruiser. Then the Maximal didn't detect anything, and the upper shaft of the axalon opened, and there was someone invisible standing there (with lasers). Then Primal started talking about a decepticon being reprogrammed as a predacon, and then Ravage entered the axalon bridge.

Did Primal meet Ravage before BW and was familiar with his tactics or something?

I don't think they knew each other, Primal was just well-versed on his history.

yeah, but there was some invisible guy standing there and Primal immediatly knew it was ravage. That's what I'm so curious about.

I'll agree that probably Primal just knew the right info about Ravage ahead of time. (like maybe he was the only known Decepticon-turned-Predacon with that ability.)

He was probably making an educated guess. He did have the security clearance to know about the experimentation that created Rampage and the Ark despite the history files about the Great War being sealed. He likely knew that Ravage was the only Pred with actual combat experience and thus would be not only cautious, but able to disarm them quickly.

It's also possible that Ravage, as a known agent of the Tripredacus council, would have been the most likely one sent to sabotage the Axalon's mission, and thus Primal was briefed on him.

    Very possible.

The alliance was an un-easy one.

It's kind of odd, really. The Maximal Elders kept most knowledge of the Autobots and the wartime events from their own people; Primal was shown in some instances to not realize how Predacon society worked and exactly how they lost the war. Yet in other instances, especially in Beast Machines, he seems to know a great deal, like when he speaks of Optimus Prime and Iacon, and when he knows what the Oracle is and where to find it. Plot convenience!
