Gah, I love this series so much, even read the first two from... sources... but I haven't purchased any yet. Comic book stores around here suck. As soon as I possibly can, I'm gonna order the whole series online. The BW story is too cool to not support.

Hmm Hopefully the this issue will be less late than the last #3 only showed up here last week... wasn't it supposed to be out 3 or 4 weeks ago?

Actually, none of the beast modes from the title resemble the real-life animals the toys are based on...

Yeah, note how in that preview, Sky Shadow looks more like some kind of dinosaur mixed with a dragonfly, rather than a lizard. Perhaps to distinguish him better from Buzzclaw.

Grimlock looks like 1 of those Raptors from Jurassic Park 3.

I had the same problem regarding Grimmy's beast mode... it looks nothing like the toy!

I guess Don went the extra effort to distinguish the repaints from the original molds...

Hey, it's all good. I mean, Grimlock as a Raptor never sat right with me anyways. Make him a T-Rex and have him TF similarly to his toy... sounds promising! :D

I don't get it: it this THE Grimlock or just another bot with the same name?
    Anyway, this issue looks incredible.

Yes, it's THE Grimlock. Interesting note is that his toy bio also had him being G1 Grimlock... G1 Grimlock having undergone a Maximal "upgrade".

Wow! There must an explanation later in the comics for those who are not familiar with the toy.
