Just a thread to inform and inqure, as I need a few of these confirmed. I picked up the first wave of Beast Wars 10th Anniversary figures and found a few surprises in how they were assembled.

The most obvious is Rhinox who's shoulders and upper arms are on the wrong sides. Now while this is repairable with just a screwdriver, it may actually hinder function as the left shoulder seems a bit loose afterwards (can still hold weight and poses, just easy to turn) and the right shoulder is very tight. Appearance or slight function, it's your choice.

I also discovered this, though I need someone to confirm it, but my Cheetor's head mount seems to be backwards. I have Shadow Panther and the way his is done, it fills the front gap in beast mode, whereas Cheetor doesn't. I don't know which is supposed to be the right way though it someone can confirm that for me.

It also has me worried about Waspinator who is my hands down favorite. Does anyone know if any similar assembly screwups were done to him?

There's been other threads about Rhinox's arms. I noticed poor fit/looseness when I swapped arms on on Rhinox, but another I got was just fine, so It may not be a consistent thing.

I noticed the 'backwards' Cheetor head brace too. It doesn't seem to affect him much, but it's an easy fix if you want to - simply pop the head out of the brace, turn it around, and put it back in.

Haven't seen any assembly errors on Waspy, though the knee joints are a bit loose on mine, which sometimes results in a topple backward if you're not careful. I consider it a "Waspinator feature". :)

Cheetor's robot head comes of easily, then just flip his head the other way and its back to normal.

One other thing people might want to watch out for-- when you see Waspinator, before you buy him, you might want to look carefully at where the twistie tie crosses over his thorax. The metallic paint they used there looks like it can chip off if the box was subjected to heavy handling or something during shipping-- I noticed too late that there's a couple of leprosy spots on my Waspy's thorax. Well, I'll just call it "battle damage", heh.

I can also confirm a loose Rhinox arm after doing the swap on mine.

As for Waspy, the only error I've seen on him was a figure with no Predacon stamp on the top of the bee. Luckily, the store had another in stock so I could buy a "correct" one. It seemed to be an isolated incident.

One nice thing about that Cheetor fix is you can see more of his head then, rather than having his mouth be hidden behind the top of the beast head chest at some angles.

I have an easy solution, I'll just leave the Beasts AS Beasts. :D

turning the head around on my original cheetor, I can see that there is a difference, but I doubt you could really notice in photos.

I was distracted and confused when I read the original post, I thought the alteration involved the -beast- head :redface2:

I made the switch as everyone instructed, but just to be sure: The robot head should now be further back, correct?
