Buying toys from japan ? tusami discounts?

    Have been watching ebay and see. more vintage jap transformers, poppy, radieen alot of 80's 70's vintage transformers/toys listed with the sellers
    location japan...

    Anyone see more listing also.. with the problems in japan , makes sense people would be selling collections for needed money

    ... seriously though, what you're saying makes sense, but it could also just be a way for them to capitalize on exposure & milk the nostalgia while the TF bug is going strong. Like, I'm not saying this to be an asshole, but disasters & overall misfortune can also be good for business in some cases, the same goes for movie trends, and it's be silly not to capitalize on them. Or you know, maybe we're just paying a little bit more attention than we used to, and are essentially creating our own false sense of an enlarged market.

    During the first 3 weeks after the tsunami transformers prices were down here in Japan, but very minimal. Now they seem too just be at their normal price range again.

    Just thought with the earthquake and flood....

    Alot of people had to pack up and relocate... For some not knowing much about the future , where they will live , how they will live from here out
    they might sell off some off their stuff to lighten the load...
