Interesting. It really does look like the real deal. Wonder what the quality is like, and where they got the plans/molds for this one. Always felt that Hasbro missed an opportunity to re-release HA Barricade, rather than give us a crappy Bee and Skids redeco.

(And was it really necessary to slip in "Chinese friends" into the subject line? Are you trying to nation/race-bait or something?)

None whatsoever, just pointing out that the majority of this crap is originating from this part of the world.

Nearly all Transformers (the official ones) originate from there too. Not sure what's your point with the "friends" remark.

No they dont, they may be manufactured there, but they arent blatantly violating intellectual trademark and copyrights. Poor comparison imo.

You're completely missing the point of the thread buddy.

All I want is the Frenzy figure. The actual Barricade can starve.

Why does racism somehow get dragged into everything? The comment was directed at the counterfeiters, not at Chinese people in general. Let it go.

Well, 5 were available, now one has been sold...

To me! I'll let everyone know how it is. Bear in mind I don't have an original HA Barricade.

Got the real thing (sans box) and can't tell any difference. Looks to have all joints and features, same color and head, same Frenzy, 20cm is the same height as the real one. Kinda scary, actually.
    At least the seller's honest.

Also, damn glad I picked up Barry when I did. Aftermarket prices are CRAZY!

I saw a shop in NYC that had about 5 HA Mudflaps at one point, and didn't pounce on them because I was afraid they were KO's, and there really was no way to tell.

I'm glad I sold my extras before this came out. I hate KOs like this where you can't tell the difference.

I think the packaging is little paler than the legit one, just like the KO HA Bumblebee and Sideswipe I've seen. If you put the boxes side by side, KO vs. legit, the KOs are a bit paler and the images not as sharp. As to the figures themselves, there are subtle differences in the paint and plastic, and someone told me, looser joints.

If Chinese friends refers to the country, is it still racist? Our Australian friends? Our South African friends? Our Luxembourgeon friends?

I can't tell any obvious difference from the legit vs KO. The lighter packaging may just be lighting.

This very well could be attributable to the lighting, but the colors seem more muted with less contrast between them. I can barely make out the logo in the purple police shield, for example. And the lights on the robot's shoulders don't appear to be as transparent as they are on the real one. Otherwise I can't see any differences.
