What kind of promotion is this? They really expect a Transformer to bring in people to shell out thousands of dollars for their cars? That's insane. Now, where do I sign up? Seriously though. I would love to have that, but unless it comes out to retail I'm not going to be getting it. It's got the look and feel of an alt, but is it officially an alternator?
Maybe, just maybe the Alt/BT line isnt as dead as we think. I cant see Hasbro/Takara/Tomy just doing off one exclusive run for Chevy. I'm betting we'll see that mold , likely in different colours, get a wider release.

Where is there any proof that is an Alternator? It looks to be more along the scale of a deluxe, but it's hard to tell. It does look cool. And, yes, this would be the epitome of frustration of this line were this true . . .

Yeah upon closer inspection I would say that that is not an ALT as we know it. Looks like a deluxe and It wont have detailed interior in vehicle mode.
I agree with SQ7....it doesnt look like an Alt to me....looks more like Movie Swindle....just re-molded.... I mean, I am the guy with over 100 Alts.....and it doesnt look like an Alt....still cool though.
