All the new items targeted at the older age group is certainly good news. Can't wait to see whats coming down the pike. Technobots please.

I understand the relationship, and I read the article.

My point is that there's not a 'slant' to 'the entire article,' but rather, there's a lack of focus on details irrelevant to the actual story. What difference does the design partnership make with regards to that effect?

The author is writing for his or her audience--people interested in the fallout from a specific instance of global outsourcing. If article was about partnerships between international companies, I suspect more focus would be paid to the specifics of the TT/Hasbro relationship, and less to the source of TT's manufacturing.

Yes, we've seen great things from KISS Play, endless oneshot lines with Optimus Prime and megatron, and reissued reissues. :rolleyes2

By "older age group" they mean "84-85 with a dash of 86". After all, we all know Transformers ended by 1987 in the US. :wink

ML Soundwave has been generally well-received, if not the shoebots.

Reissues are money in the bank. It's been less than a month and Prime is already sold out. Even Ironhide and Ratchet, POSs that they are, will be profitable. Nostalgia sells. Always has. Always will.
