We were eating dinner tonight and I mentioned in passing that I would love to go into business for myself selling action figures and comics, and suddenly my wife was all like "Let's do it, yo!"

Does anyone here know what it takes to start an internet business? I thought about just emailing Joel at Big Bad Toy Store, but didn't think he would be too keen on helping out a potential competitor. :D

Also, consult a CPA for the income tax implications (advantages and disadvantages) as it relates to you individually and whatever legal entity your business takes (sole proprietor, single member LLC, LLC, partnership, LP, LLP, corporation, S corporation, etc).

Of course, in addition, you'd then have to find toy suppliers, places to store inventory, etc. Not to mention a source of financing for purchasing of inventory, supplies, insurance, etc.
