    PLAY WITH ME.

The open world rules, the decision to activate crash mode at ANY TIME ANYWHERE makes this worth the admission. earn cars by destroying them. races are open so you can take any route. all events are unlocked to be selected when you start the game.

Yes. This may be the best game in a series of already incredible games.

XBox Live I'm FakeTrout and I'm going to play for a while.

Yeah, i'm just amazed at how much awesomeness this game oozes. I've played all but Dominator in the series, but this just stands out heads above the others.

Grabbing it on Friday, although some of the shit they've done is going to frustrate the hell out of me.

i need to know if this game is like takedown in it's challenge. i hate to call it that, but nobody seems to care about the twitch part of twitch racing anymore. takedown was brilliant (the burning laps very much so). revenge was an utter joke in that regard. if it's more of the same, i'm gonna pass.

its far more open than take down, and race routes are not closed off so you can take shortcuts easier or even get lost.

Don't expect a sim like GT or Forza. Paradise (and all other Burnouts) are far more on the arcadey side of things, and while there are standard races, the action is much more geared toward causing over-the-top action and mayhem on the streets and highways.

Burnout is not a racing game. Burnout is a crashing game. Races are just excuses to push people off the road and make their cars explode.

As for getting lost, once I know the city better I expect this will happen a lot less, and shortcuts will become more obvious.
