I went out scouting my town's Burger King, hoping to find the Dark of the Moon "Flip-Out Shockwave", and I managed to get him. I had to pay $1.49 (not including tax) to buy Shockwave by himself, but I think it was worth it.

His instructions are refreshingly thorough, and understandably simple.
    His "transformation" in action, below:

He has some great detail sculpted into him, despite being a fast food promo. You'll have to forgive the blurry pictures. My handss aren't very steady when holding a camera, and I couldn't get close enough with my mini-tripod.

On that last picture, you can also see the contros for his electronics. There is a small on/off switch you must flip, and when it is on you must hold down the red button. What does the button do? Why, it projects an image from his chest. What image? This:

It's rather hard to see, and it's quite small, but it projects a small, red light in the shape of a Decepticon sigil. It works best in a dark environment.

Finally, some comparison pictures with the other currently-released DOTM Shockwave toy, Voyager-Class MechTech Shockwave:

I hope this review was helpful, and thank you for reading.

Just got Shocky tonight. In "head" mode, he's oddly reminiscent of Occulus Orbus the Madball

He was the only other BK toy I wanted.

I wish they gave a bit more paint apps or something.

I couldn't agree more. I understand, though, that the budget was probably all used up on the electronics (Which aren't even that great, in my opinion, but you need gimmicks to sell toys, apparantly).

How come the Autobots got so much paint apps while the Cons have so little?

    The detailing is gorgeous, though.

I assume it was that or the size.

The last wave consisting of Ratchet and Soundwave seem to be the dullest since they just glow in the dark. Ratchet has more glow than Soundwave too.
