My guess is that Ratchet attempts to get Bumblebee's voice back, but ultimately Bumblebee is forever a mute.

 

That would be disappointing.

 

My fanon theory [supported by literally nothing] was that some old foe of his permanently damaged his voice-box in a tragic event in the past, my personal hunch is Barricade.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if his story arc ends with him still being mute and a message of how one shouldn't judge people for their disabilities.

Just my personal hunch.

 

Similar to how they described their speech in the movie novels, they spoke "Cybertronian" until they switched to English for the humans.

 

I don't really want bumblebee to exactly get his voice back, because I can't think of a voice that would actually fit him without looking/sounding awkward..

 

He doesn't need a voice. Really. I can understand him just fine. I don't need Raf explaining everything he says either. Just keep on improving his body language and the tone of the bleep blarps and It'll be just fine.

 

Well I like to see him speak sometime soon but yeah I agree with you. I can underatand Bumblebee just fine wthout Raf because I can tell through his body language. I mean Gromet from Wallace and Gromit never spoke a word but we can clearly understand him through his body language. It's the same with Bumblebee here.

 

Nah, I'd rather have him stay a mute but actually for once understand what's he's saying (so Subtitles or a different way of speaking). Then we'll realized their was no point to BB being mute in the first place.

 

If we're going with hunches based on how shows usually handle these types of things, I'd say something close to that is likely. I think they'll give him a couple of speaking lines, but the fix ultimately "isn't ready." However, I think they'll leave open the possibility of an eventual fix, just in case they want to reinterpret the character again for another Aligned story when Prime is over.

I'm pretty sure Johnny could pull it off.

 

I wouldn't mind if Bumblebee gets his voice back, as long as his voice matches his personality and he still beeps at times as a pratical joke like Ratchet's on going "I needed that!" gag.

 

If they must keep Bumblebee mute, I agree that they're going to have to make it easier for other people to understand him, but I don't think that subtitles would be the way to go. I'd give it maybe two episodes tops before people would start complaining about having to read to be able to understand Bumblebee.

 

How about have a flashback back on cybertron of how Bumblebee had his vocal processor permantely damaged when he took a shot that would of killed Optimus

 

I actually really liked Johnny young's performance as Bee in WFC. I wouldn't be opposed to him voicing this version of the character.

 

I think that his voice is fine, I like his beeps. He's the only Transformer in this series I can impersonate well!  

But I do demand a flashback episode to Tyger Pax. And several others, mainly a Breakdown and Bulkhead one.

Johnny Yong Bosch voicing Bumblebee in Prime, would actually make me like Bee finally.

His Role as Lelouch Vi Britannia is one of my fav roles of all-time.

 

He's the black ranger. He should win just on that alone. Oh also he was fantastic in War for Cybertron. That helps a lot as well.

 

He signed my MMPR:TM DVD with "I'm a frog?"  

 

I really hope Bumblebee get's his voice back. I never liked R2Bee2. I just hope his voice matches his personality, unlike Bayformer Bee.
