Bumblebee vocal processors were damaged again in "The Reign of Starscream"

 

Because his damaged vocal cords have become an integral part of Bumblebee.   Good compromise for those who didn't like Ryan's voice, you won't hear it all the time.

 

Because he hangs around with Sam. Sam is the star of the movie. Can't possibly have a Transformer upstaging the character that is the star of the Transformers movie.

 

I think his vocal processor is broken so that they can resell that expensive ass Bumblebee toy again without changing the voice chip.

As well as selling the beatmix Bumblebee again as well.

 

STOP! You're applying logic to the Michael Bay film!

I think they could have easily had Bumblebee speaking in his voice at the end of the movie and mixing it up with radio chatter. He's smart enough to do that, it keeps the gimmick of him talking through his radio, and it doesn't make BB go through a cycle of "No voice -> Fixed voice -> Broken voice off camera" with every movie.

 

Sort felt like it was left a bit open ended about his voice at the end of the first movie. You could argue just about either way that Ratchet was making progress or that Ratchet wasn't exactly the best doctor we've ever seen. So with a second film they could chose to go with a normal voice or something else.

My guess is either one of the suits, producers, Hasbro, or some other money person thought the radio gimmick was something big to sell to the little kids so they went back to sing it again Bumblebee to pander to the younger demographic of the film. Ah you've to got to love Hollywood where it's more about demographics and test audiences than art.

 

yeh. in alliance he got a shot to the throat by screamer. in alliance 4, ratchet once again used his "working on it" excuse

 

We should really check up if Ratchet actualy got a diplom or not.
