i dont know if anyone else has noticed this but, especially after seeing Operation: bumblebee p1, i see that bumblebee's door wings in robot mode move up and down depending on his mood.

i just think thats soo cool, movie bumblebee was the same way and i think its a great trait for a character without a voice.

I've noticed that, too, and I really enjoy it. It's good for Bumblebee to get some nice character exposure in these episodes, and body language is definitely welcome for this character who can only talk in beeps and squeaks.

Yeah, I liked that touch too. The droopy doors makes me sorry for the poor guy.

Somewhat related to this: I also liked the quick bits of Bumblebee's attempts at transformation, showing only some partial shifting of his doors, chest panels, and arm pieces.

Probably a reference to the fact the toys can do that.

It is a very nice touch, especially considering he doesn't have a mouth to express emotion.

I think Starscream can do it with his wings as well.

Yes I noticed it it kind of made me sad that the RID toy's doors were not on ball joints or better hinges so you could post them more.

I remember in at least one episode (Rock Bottom, maybe?), his wings sort of twitch upward to express nervous surprise or something like that.

They totally missed the chance to call him "Mr. Droopy Doors" when he was sad in Operation Bumblebee :p

Movie Bumblebee does the same, but I actually like how they did it in the episode. His doors and optics show a lot of expression in the episode, especially when he gets angry.

Yeah, it has been noticed before, in the official episode discussion thread. But I digress, yes, it is a very awesome and subtle character animation. That's one of the reasons why I loved movie 'Bee (and thus, TFP 'Bee as well). The doors act like animal ears or tails, drooping when they're sad.

    It was a nice touch.
I've been critical of Prime's Bee's being unable to communicate, and with the added body language he communicated even though he didn't speak.

Am I the only one who hopes that when we hear Bee's voice (whether he regains it, or if it's in a flashback) that Dan Gilvezan voices the character?
