Catch Bumblebee early, like 2 whole weeks early through various theater chains on Saturday, December 8th at 7pm in the US. Tickets and showtimes haven't gone up yet, but you can set a reminder for when they go up through AMC: Bumblebee Early Access Screening at an AMC Theatre near you

Regal states:
"Moviegoers in select cities across the US & Canada will have the chance to be the first to see BUMBLEBEE in participating theatres almost 2 weeks before the film opens nationwide. This event offers fans and their families the chance to be the first to see the movie, new behind the scenes bonus content afterwards, and receive a Transformers: Tiny Turbo Changers Movie Toy."

It looks like Paramount wants some good word of mouth to come out before the release, which should give it some legs during the actual release date when it's competing with Aquaman and Mary Poppins.

Meanwhile, Aquaman world premiere will be set on next Monday, November 26.

I don't expect Bumblebee to be box office hit, but I wish it will atleast break even to gain some profit.

 

It will have a horrible opening, but the good word of mouth will give it some solid legs across the later weeks. Basically, it will pull a Jumanji 2 where it opened with only a mere $36M but went on to make $400M domestically.

Did you click on "Remind Me" and sign up for an AMC Stubs account? AMC Stubs is just their free membership account (paid versions are available as well) which gives you access to their points and rewards system. You haven't actually bought anything. Since you've asked them to remind you, they'll send you a reminder through email (or text if you have that enabled) when showtimes and tickets for the advanced showing are available to buy. When they're available, you can buy as many tickets as you like.

I made an account, paid 15 for a stub I think it was, and I did set a reminder on the early showing.

 

How did you buy anything when tickets are not yet available?

 

I think the $15 was for a premium account.

This must be the secret weapon Paramount is using to get an edge on Aquaman - if Bumblebee is going to do well, then word of mouth from the early access is going to make or break the film.

 

Ohhh this is awesome!! Will we have to pay for tickets or is it a free screening?

 

Pay. Also, because it's a specialized showing and an early one at that, they may charge higher than normal rates.
