I see no logic in doing so.

    No.

Why would a similar body dictate age???

Theres really no reason to assume that they are all the same age simply because they were in training together.

There are college students of all ages.

Bumblebee and wasp are the same age roughly. However cliffjumper is older than them because he is roughly the same age of sentinel.

Where are people getting that Wasp and Bumblebee are the same age? Was this ever established as canon? If so in what episode, comic book, bio or official Hasbro paraphernalia?

People we do not know the ages of these characters. We do not even know what time encompasses a nonbiological life form to be considered a "kid" by Transformer standards.

I based my estimation on the fact that most enlistees in the US military are between 18 and 22. Yes, there are older trainees, but the majority are in the younger age group. With regards to Bee and Wasp's particular training group, at the very least all of them are in the same point in their lives where they're looking for a career (Longarm notwithstanding), so its not unreasonable to assume that Bumblebee and Wasp are near in age.

--Moony, who probably should go to bed now 'cause she's probably not making enough sense. :lol

All these bots and many of the background characters were simply shot from the same protomold. Being robots they don`t grow in size so BB could be 10 and CJ could be a 1,000 there would be no difference.

PSJ you are still totally random.

Here is my speculation of the ages of Transformers in the Animated series:

    Cadets

    Bumblebee
    Age: 16

    Waspinator
    Age: 15

    Bulkhead
Age: Unknown, but quite possibly around early to late twenties

    Ironhide
Age: 25 (Ironhide was originally old in the G1 series)

    Longarm/Shockwave
Note: Shockwave is a lot older than Longarm
Age: 28 for Longarm/42 for Shockwave

    Training Officers and Their Assistants

    Sentinel Minor
    Age: 35

    Cliffjumper
    Age: 34

Well guys, what do you think and what do you say? This is only my take. So what's yours?

Trying to relate Transformers age to human age is like trying to compare apples and oranges. A "kid" on Cybertron can be 1000 years old, for all you know. Ratchet was alive during the Great War as well. Try to put an age on him, knowing the length of the great war.

You can't place a human factor on Transformers when it comes to "age".

First you state an age group as correlation and then you shoot down your own point?

Bee and the rest aren't even looking for careers. They entered boot camp because they wanted to be in the Elite Guard. They already had previous functions as civilians on Cybertron. For example Bulkhead was a farmer.

Transformers don't even age biologically so who are we to say if they even quantify age, or if they are aware exactly when they came online.

I was trying to get across that I was generalizing. Unfortunately I currently have a migraine, so I'm not going to go into it further since as a result my brains feel like scrambled eggs. ;)

Do we know that all transformers with the same protomold are cast at the same time? Even then, how long a stretch could there be while one protomold was operational?
