Not entirely necessary but I can see why they did it and I remember as a kid thinking that two packs like this were really cool be it Beast Wars or Star Wars.

    Neat idea

Actually I kinda wish they offered most deluxes in sets like that.

Two packs are great from a child's perspective, twice the fun for those times 'you can only get one' situations. Kinda sad they're exactly the same as the individual deluxes, even moreso at the fact it's '70s BB (not a fan of that mold). Hopefully the Voyager two pack will be a little more special.

If it's less than $20, then I'll get it. Otherwise I'll just pick them up separately - there's no appeal for a vs. set for me if it's the same price as readily available individual toys.

Wonder if they'll be like the same cheap price as one Voyager figure, like the Magnus set was for classics.

Cool. If that set is under $20 I will definitely pick it up.

So does the mini-frenzy only come with the two pack? Or is he still included w/the single release of Barricade?

Awesome. I love 2 pack sets, be it comic packs, battle packs, or packs like this. Its awesome having one dedicated hero vs an enemy in one set.

The Frenzy comes with the regular Barricade too. I like the set, but hope they put a little extra to get me to buy it (heck, even a cheap DVD'll do the trick).

Meh. If they're the same as the regular deluxe releases, what's the point?

Thanks for the info. And if the set ends up being $14 or $15 I will be all over it, no question.

Because some people like battle packs. And maybe it will be cheaper than buying the deluxes individually.

    And it's a store exclusive.

Past TF lines in Japan were big on VS packs, specifically in the BW Neo line.

Personally, I find those packs cool. Bring 'em on! :D

You've gotta love that Barricade figure, the Bumblebee figure though... well it sucks basically. Doubt I'll get it for two reasons.
    1. I don't usually get vs packs unless I can't get the figures separately.
    2. I live in England, so this'll probably never get released over here anyway.

He more or less folds away for easy storage. :p

This is cool, I love two-packs. This should be cheaper than the two figures would cost separately, so good deal all around.
