I was thinking about 'What if' stories, in my head it was 'what if we followed through on plot lines based on G1 stories, but were so far out they could never be considered canon?'

Anyway my thoughts ran like this,

(Note! These events happen soon after the events dipicted in Heavy Metal War!)

    What if...

The Autobots weakest Transformer (Bumblebee who felt worthless and demoralised) was inspired by Megatrons plan in Heavy Metal War, and decided that to become a better warrior, he would go around killing Decepticons, steal their Power Chip Rectifiers from out of their bodies and then use them...

After consulting with Teletraan 1, who confirms his plans viabiity, Bumblebee secretly starts his campaign to be a better warrior, and beginning with weaker characters, (Frenzy first) he rapidly moves onto bigger targets. After a while however, it becomes apparent the power absorbion process is highly addictive, and after the death of Megatron, Starscream orders the remaining Decepticons to go to ground because of the Autobots 'yellow secret weapon'.

Bumblebee then turns on the Autobots for his Power Rectifier fix...

When he is discovered absorbing Mirages powers by Spike (who was alerted to Bumblebees plan by Teletraan 1), Bumblebee accidentally kills the lad when Mirages newly installed invisibility power confuses him and instead of using Skywarps ability to teleports over TO Spike, he teleports ON to Spike... *squish*

Driven insane with his heinous plot revealed Bumblebee decimates most the Earthen forces of the Autobots singlehandedly.

All the remaining Transformers on Earth and Cybertron unite to battle the horned menace, and realising they cannot hope to defeat Bumblebee anymore Optimus Prime and Shockwave agree he must be stranded on Earth.

Led by Optimus Prime the Autobot/Decepticon force battle the power crazed Bumblebee at Autobot headquarters and sustain massive losses, but it is all a diversion allowing Shockwave and a smaller force to successfully destroy all the means for Bumblebee to escape Earth, all shuttles and space bridges are destroyed and Bumblebee, despite all his power isn't smart enough to create interstellar space travel...

Until he realises if he can defeat and absorb Omega Supreme's Power Rectifier, nothing can bind him to Earth and Cybertron will be his for the taking...

Optimus Prime sacrifices himself to allow a critically damaged Omega Supreme to escape. After absorbing Optimus Primes powers and destroying Teletraan 1, Bumblebee uses Hounds abilities to track Omega who is sheltering in a deep valley, (its the same Valley him and Spike discovered the prototype Space Bridge previously in Transport to Oblivion continuity fans!)

A massive battle ensues, where Omega, the Autobots last stand ultimate weapon, but not at his best, is killed by Bumblebee!

PLOT TWIST! It turns out Omega Supreme was a fake made up of spare parts, controlled by Sparkplug Witwicky who had used the mind transfer process invented by Wheeljack and Sparkplug in 'Autobot Spike'.

The REAL Omega Supreme had already (reluctantly) left Earth much earlier with all the other Transformers capable of interstellar travel! Sparkplugs brave sacrifice has lured Bumblebee into the valley and while Bumblebee pauses to consider this, high explosives set around the valley are detonated by none other than Chip Chase!

Designed to bury Bumblebee forever millions of tonnes of rock rain down upon Bumblebee, while a vengeful Chip watches with clenched fists! 'That was for you, Spike!'

In the end, from the edge of the newly created precipice Shockwave and Chip discuss how even the best of us can turn to evil and Shockwave muses how ironic it is that Bumblebees own fall from grace has inspired a new age of Autobot/Decepticon co-operation, and how with both sides depleted and near extinction it would be illogical to dissolve that alliance.

    Peace at last.

As Chip rolls away Bumblebees fist punches out from underneath tonnes of rock...

    'I will return...!'

    *shock*
