Its hard not to take everyone he says personally when everything he has said to me lately has been nothing but personal attacks and snide comments about my techniques and skill. *shrug*

Do what you must, but i am only defending myself.

    .....again....:lolol ......:lol

    P.S.
When building model cars (the ones that look real anyway) it is always recommended that you wet sand the body(after removing all the molding/injection marks & flaws including filling in gaps & other flaws) before primer.
After the primer dries you work on the noticeable flaws only, once you can lay down more primer without showing any flaws you should do a light (even) wet sand (being careful not to sand through the primer) then apply paint.
Paint coats should be lightly/evenly wet sanded as each layer is applied(when thoroughly dry).
You don't HAVE TO go through all this but if you do the paint will come out looking much more realistic than if you don't.
Sand paper you wanna use: 1200 or higher.

    ....

Do Ilike Iron man? Apparently you haven't seen my collection. I have to take pic somtime.

Where do you see him attacking you? Nowhere does he even quote you. he generally makes a comment on sandpaper possibly ruining a toy and thus making it worse. You were not defending yourself but instead picking a fight. As I said, you are looking for ways to start flame wars and it will not continue.

I find 1600 to be the best on plastic figures. Unless you have some stubborn bits you need off then 600 can work you just need to be careful and go over it with 1200 or 1600 after.

I know what you're talking about from that other thread, but damn, dude. Taking your attitude to the mods like that isn't helping your case and it will get you in some shit.

Just put the guy on ignore if he bugs you so much.

EDIT: I didn't see he got banned. Guess that solves that.

Use Castrol Super Clean. It wont dull the plastic and will make the paint fall off. You just have to soak it for 24 hours. My bro used it to strip the paint on the inside of a taillight assembly on his car and the plastic is still shiny. You'll have to disassemble BB but it will look like it never had the stripes.

All this talk of alcohol and paint thinners ruining MP Starscream's plastic has me worried. I'll have to try something, though. Christmas is coming up soon.

Seriously, looking at it cross-eyed will get the stripes off that figure. I'm contemplating just scratching the rest off with my fingernail and repainting the stripes in something sturdier.

You're the first person I've heard that doesn't have trouble with the stripes coming off.

take him down to the local carwash. lay him in an empty stall and spray him with the high pressure cycle and see if that helps :ev:
