I hope they give these an upgrade for the next one. Arcee in particular looks so creepy and out of place.

 

That doesn't make sense because we also see him leaving with the others on the tower.

The consistency with what these people say about their movie astounds me.
They say one thing, but the movie itself tells us another.

They all look so damn good, Cliffs horns seem a tad short, but he still looks excellent.

 

That was an awesome read! I love the look of these robots, their faces just have so much personality. I also love that Travis Knight refused to recycle Bay assets, because it would be a huge visual clash (which is very true).

I think it's the faces. They're clearly not meant to be seen too close-up and in focus, so they didn't put a tonne of effort into them like, say, they did with bee and Shatter/Dropkick.

I think they misunderstood what he meant by "taken out." I think he just means Brawn gets shot down and is out of the fight.

Actually a few robots gets knocked out/not killed in the battle. The Seeker Bee hits with the head-ball only gets knocked out. Not everyone who's disabled is seemingly destroyed.

 

Arcee is cute.

 

Arcee looks super sleek here. I really dig her look. It's so much better than this:

 

Liked Wheeljack's look.

 

The only one of those redesigns I do not like is Shockwave. The thunder thighs are very "fat" looking and rounded compared to the rest of the body. He could use more lanky legs, per his G1 toy and animation design.

 

Man Arcee is creepy.

The designs are great though. I want to see more!

 

I was able to get the images by manually looking at what images the site was loading. Man, these designs are beautiful.







Personally, I don't think Arcee looks all that creepy to me. It may be that we are not used to seeing such a smooth facial design.

she looks like a porcelain doll but i like it nonetheless.

 

I thought it was fun being able to tell who was who at just a glace. For people who don't know the history of Transformers it's not anything to ruin the scene but for the people that know the older looks it's a really nice extra.

Nice as the look is the voice actors really help to sell the characters. Making Soundwave sound all robotic was enough to say this Travis Knight guy seems like a pretty good fellow.

 

It is an ad for WFC Siege and maybe Masterpiece.

I was tempted to start the Siege line after watching it but then I stopped as I still complain about 90 degree elbow bends.

 

Every character is instantly recognizable, which is a big plus in my book.

 

So, some time ago people compmained about the humanoid look in Bay's movies, but they seem to like these designs. You people are weird

 

(1) Not the same people
(2) This is completely different from the direction Bayformers took in AOE and TLK. AOE Galvatron and TLK Optimus didn't look like Transformers at all.
