the idea behind this was rather simple. I had not drawn this guy in ages and compared to my art work now my old BB looked dated. So I started thinking up ideas to use and as it just so happens I was looking at getting a MX-5/roadster/maita with the hardtop and I looked at that hard top and I got the idea that it could make for a cool chest plate for BB. Out side of the car mode the only other must have was the old G1 toy head with a face rather then the animation model head. Edit: not with 13% less fender bender action
Really nice, the front of the car looks a little off maybe.... where the hood meets the windshield, it looks like it dips more on the right side, than on the left.
awesome its nice to know my stuff has such impact. PS. CryoPrime I've edited the front end. I pulled up the hood likes and raised the droopy light (granted its still not perfect at least it does not look like a write off)
no prob. I knew it wasn't spot on but until you pointed it out I didn't know just how much it looked like some one had drove into the left side of the car mode.
Ah Blitz... I always love seeing a thread by you, always something nice to look at. I especially love the yellows used here, very nice work.
Heh, I noticed that too! This design for Bumblebee is awesome. I love how you used the original toy's helmet design. And retaining his G1 silhouette helps a lot.
I want an Alternator toy of this. NOW. Blitz., if you keep at this, you'll have to have an infraction for too much awesome. *picks up jaw from floor*
