That's the most detailed description we've received yet! Looks like Bee was on Earth to protect humanity and then I guess his mission was later rerouted to find the All Spark? Here, I'd say I hope they explain that in the movie but after TLK, I'm sure that'll be too much. I hope I'm wrong of course.

 

I wonder if the Plymouth GTX is Barricade?

Hmm, this is getting a lot more interesting. It would be extremely out-of-character for Barricade if he's the Plymouth GTX con but then again, not a SINGLE alt-mode for him or hot rod was revealed on filming set let alone the name reveal for the Plymouth guy. I would still imagine at least 2 or 3 decepticons in this film just to even the odds out.

Joking aside marvel did same thing with there fantastic four reboot they said and stated fantastic four reboot will have sequel before movie itself was released in any theaters after failed attempt of that movie they changed there mind no sequel to reboot fantastic four movie

 

I've had this idea of the red car being Barricade, this just makes me feel the possibility even more. lol

 

Oh man. This movie sounds like it’s gonna even more subdued than I thought. Maybe this will be a Transformer movie I will actually watch on Blu Ray instead of the theater. But I have seen absolutely nothing yet, so I can’t be too harsh based on a dull sounding plot summary.

Have there been private previews?  I remember these movies showing lots of teasers almost a year ahead of release.

Nah, the teasers were never a year ahead. For a June release, the earliest teasers we got were in December. With that logic applied, the earliest teaser we would see for Bumblebee would be in June.

 

I'm really loving what we've heard about the storyline so far. No weapon of mass destruction or ancient relic (it doesn't even sound like there'll be a mcguffin). A teenager helping a robot escape from a small town definitely sounds quaint in comparison to the other films (and what's expected of the franchise in general), and I love that.

I can definitely understand that reaction, but honestly, this is part of the reason I'm really looking forward to this one. I love small scale, contained stories; most of the time better than big globe-trotting ones. But I'm sure the movie will have an interesting storyline and enough action to keep it entertaining. If you heard a similar synopsis for, say, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, or even Jurassic Park they would probably sound kind of small scale and subdued, but those movies are very interesting.

I wonder if like Cloverfield Paradox & Annihilation, if netflix might try to get this as an exclusive and abandon the Theatrical release altogether...

 

Ikr this movie feels different no relic or end of the world shit I'm glad this is very differet
