Whereas im not collecting the MPM figures, i do find it odd that this is coming before many other characters are given their own MP figures. I get its timing with the movie, but there is already (technically 2) MPM bumblebees out of the few figures done so far. Kinda tired of bee tbh.

Yeah Bee to the MPM line what G1 Prime is to the MP line. Both are flag ship characters, both are guaranteed repaints and retools, and both are getting 3 versions before we see Jazz.

 

I look forward to the backlash when MPM jazz is revealed (given that the rumor is 2 for 2 now) before g1 jazz  

 

I'm going to laugh my ass off if MPM-7 makes it to the shelves before MPM-6.

Then I'm going to proceed to NOT buy MPM-7 Bee because there's no way he's screen accurate, and instead save up for MPM-6 Ironhide.

Whatever Hasbro is doing, they're shooting themselves in the foot here.

 

Where was it ever guaranteed they were doing the 07 movie cast first?

In addition, this release is timed perfectly with the Bee movie release.

Lastly, as others have said, this has been known about for sometime now.

 

Im pretty sure mpm 7 is camero bumblebee from the movie since its kinda confirmed that he'll switch alt modes

 

Will I know which Bee to get now...

 

We know he switched from a Willys Jeep to the Beetle, but I've not seen any indication that he then switches to his Camaro mode and I really hope he doesn't. On top of that, why in the world would MPM-7 be a Camaro, when his Beetle mode is clearly the one he uses throughout the movie?

I’m really excited for this figure. I’ve only got a few things I want to happen.
1. Hoping he’s been edited to match the CGI model more with the lack of wings.
2. We do also get the old school camaro one from 07 as well.
3. We get this whole film cast done as MPMs.
But yeah. This gonna be great.

 

Glad they've at least stopped pretending like the identity of mpm-7 was a mystery at all, even if we haven't seen the actual figure yet. Still need to see robot mode pics though before making any decisions, though the VW alt mode and me already owning MP Bee and MPM Bee makes this one a likely purchase unless they REALLY messed this one up.

Yeah so not like the studio series figure or ultimate figure.

 

I have Bee's G1 and G2 MPs. Can't think of any reason to spend 89.99 on an MPM version of a Masterpiece I paid less for, and am happy with.

I don't know what the frag HasTak is doing with MPM06 Ironhide. Their game of musical release dates has seriously dampened my anticipation for this MPM.

As for Jazz, I'm all for an MPM. Takara will not be releasing an MP Jazz.......MP Meister, on the other hand, will see a release by Takara.
