Previously listed at Sr.Brinquedo as "Transformers Masterpiece Bumblebee", originally reported here back in February.

Now listed as "Transformers Bumblebee Movie Masterpiece Bee Movie Autobot" at Otto Simon, Wohi and Xolt.

 

I find it interesting that his is actually given his nickname.

 

I hope he is accurate to his look in the movie, say without the door wings that the deluxe has.

 

Any conformation that it's the Beetle and not, say, the 77 Camaro?

 

If it is the VW, and it was developed alongside the other movie toys, I wouldn't think our luck's in.

Given how many figures there are for that mode I wouldn't be surprised if it were the Camaro.

 

I have no idea what any of those site are. Are they legit local retailers?

 

I'm fine with any number of MPM Bees so long as we get another MPM Barry.

 

Why another one?

 

Because Barry is awesome, that's why. MPM-5 can still be released with accurate purple paint, Frenzy, or his DotM gun to complement any of the remaining trilogy Bees. TLK is an option for both. Finally a concept prequel cop cruiser could be used with VW Bee similar to how Prime is getting an era apropriate figure.

If nothing else, Barry is the most recognizable movie character associated with Bee after Prime. More Barry is always a good thing.

And Beetle Bee is confirmed. I'll end up getting this guy if he comes with the fold-down doors or else I'm not really interested.

But the fact that he releases now in October it's a great sign, the delay for ironhide seems more strange now though.

I don’t think that’s the mpm’s vehicle mode.. look you can see the leg of that big bumblebee figure I think it’s just packaging art for one of the already revealed figures.

 

First, they push back MPM Ironhide to November now this? come on what happened to them doing the 07\' cast? I thought we would at least have all the Autobots before they moved onto other films.

 

It's not, the MPM also would be boxed in a similar box as ironhide, and not like a mass retail figure. Just a placeholder, but yeah, we'll see him soon properly in October.
