So now that everyone has seen Transformers several hundred times (figuratively speaking ... or not :confused2 ), is anyone used to Mark Ryan's brief moment of voice acting as Bumblebee? I've only seen it twice and I think it suits him now. Granted the voice doesn't reflect Bumblebee's behavior throughout the film, but near the end of it I think it presents the serious side of this character's personality when he isn't so energetic and light-hearted. I really hope they use him in the next film.

I LOVED Bumblebee's posh voice at the end, it was totally unexpected but everyone is used to his youngish voice

I loved his voice. Fit him perfectly. I think it was his inability to talk that made him act more exuberant to get his point across.

    I love Bumblebee.

Bumblebee is just perfect, voice, design, everything is good. They really did a good job creating those movie versions.

When I think that a few month ago everyone was bullshitting about how much the movie robots look lame, blabla...

It fits the moment in which it happens, but I hope he'll have a younger sounding VA for the second movie, especially since him speaking was a last-minute cave-in and Ryan being the first VA they had on hand.

Ihave to admit I didnt like it seeming so out of character BUT I do think it will make for interesting scenes in the next movie depending how they use it.

Overall just not sure what to think of it till it sees some more screen time .

I liked how it had that 'ahem, serious mode, I'm talking to prime asking for permission' feel.

Instead of his non military, more jovial aspects.

i wasnt a big fan, but i was also thinking that maybe the reason that it sounded wierd was that it was his first time talking in a long time. so maybe it was a little hard for him to start talking again

I for one didn't like it. The uppercuts and the other actions he did made me think his voice is gonna be like a teenager's voice

I'm still working on getting over the fact that Mark Ryan has become more or less a MySpace whore since the movie came out.

Don't forget he voices BB for the DVD's prequel comic animated feature, and that's mostly about Bumblebee or from his perspective.

The reason Bumblebee was doing those movements during that scene was the audio he would play was Muhammed Ali's 'float like a butterfly, sting like a bee' speech... hence boxing movements.

Some of the books still reflect this before the actual movie audio was changed to the lyrics of a song.

You know, the Walmart release of the movie DVD has an animated version IDW's movie prequel comic as an extra. So far we know Mark Ryan and Peter Cullen reprised their roles for this feature.

Well I couldn't say I was a huge fan of the voice ^^; The voice I have heard in the Ultimate Bumblebee toy sounds a lot better...Unless that is Ryan's voice and just sounds different over online media vids ^^; I don't loathe the movie one, I just wished it sounded a little bit more teeny *nod*

I didn't like it. I was like, "why is Perceptor communicating over Bumblebee's radio?"
