Just thought I would let everyone know that Chevy has the Concept Bumblebee at The North American International Auto show this year..
It reminds me of my first car, which was a yellow w/black stripes '71 Roadrunner. Thus I will buy one when it's released. I only hope that they release a special Bumblebee version of the car.
Very nice. But I am not sure if that is the actuall one they used in the movie. When I went to SEMA, they had the actuall BB there. I could tell by the small knicks and scratches, and it had those fake brake rotors covering the real brakes.
GM/Holden have been testing pre-production 2009 Camaros against Mustangs on Australian roads since December and will continue throughout 2008. It appears the pre-production ones have slightly different dimensions to Bumblebee and the concept.
That's to be expected. I've never seen a production car that was identical to the concept. Even the Mustang is different.
It's not going to be that expensive either... I mean what 25 grand? Give me a few years and I'll eventually buy one.
It is one of the 'real' Bumblebees, they said they were going to replace the wheels with real ones for its appearance at Detroit. There's only a few concept Camaros out there (5?), if it was a pre-pro one it'd look different. They wouldn't make up another yellow and black concept for no reason just to have it show up here. (the production ones have the whole passenger compartment/roof/doors moved forward, larger lights and mirrors, and a different trunk)
feb 21st-24th there's going to be a auto expo in cincinnati it would be cool to see bumblebee there along with the general lee
No idea, honestly. Mustangs aren't even sold here, probably because we have our own muscle cars from both Ford and Holden. Here are the photos of the testing fleet. Hope we get the Camaro here. We engineered it, after all
