Cool, glad we could help!   I like the name you came up with... though I admit, I actually think I kinda prefer one of the intermediate stage names you had there, Auceptus. Even though it doesn't really have any of the bumblebee aspects I was suggesting, I actually think that of all of those, that one rolls off the tongue best. Auceptus Prime. But Aucepidus Prime is cool, too. Either way, I think you've got one of the more creative renamings of Bumblebee out there!  

Good stuff. Hey, as a minor suggestion, did you ever consider putting a little Matrix in his chest? When I was thinking of doing something like this, that was one thing I was considering. I thought the little Matrix from the KT figure collection Optimus bust might fit in his chest with a bit of carving.... but I never got far along enough to actually try it, so I can't say for certain.

i would say maybe a war within bumblebee but there already is a character of that. but it does seem like a war within body!

either way, i like it a lot!!

 

Yellow IS a pain, but it turned out great! Always a treat to see the occasional Bumble Prime, and I think this is one of the best ones I've seen!

 

WHOA talk about bringing this back from the dead and deservingly so! THIS IS SO AWESOME. I would buy this, commission this, somehow....obtain this! Simply because in the end, Bumblebee is my favourite character when I was a kid. He's got a special spot in my heart.

I like this quite a bit... the yellow looks great, and I love the neutral tan colour you used to accent the yellow. The head fits that mold really well.

And yeah... I vote "Auceptus". It's less convoluted than Aucepidus.

But no matter where you go with it, ANYTHING is better than "Rodimus", so really you can't lose.

As a kid i used to draw pictures of what other bots might have looked like given the Matrix. For some odd reason I always liked the idea of Bumblebee and Powerglide getting it. I guess they always seemed to be the least likely.
That bendy Prime body is a perfect fit for him. Awesome custom. 

 

As an even easier custom you could put Cliffjumper's head on the body of the Cybertron black/red recolor of bendy prime and it would work fine. Hmm... tempting.

 

great idea, origin story, and good wordplay, too. might I suggest some minor paint or sculpt modification to the headmold to make him look more mature - a mustache or goatee, perhaps?
