Sorry no pics as I am at work right now, but anyway, I ran across one of these at Target while picking up a Nintendo DS for one of my sons (tomorrow is his birthday).

I opened it earlier at work and realized that the yellow tabs on the back of Concept Camaro BB's feet were not only installed upside down, which prevented them from folding all the way down, but on the wrong sides as well (they have a tiny "L" and "R"molded into them) this was easy enough to fix with a small screwdriver, I just wanted to give a heads up about it, and see if anyone else had the same problem.

I have a Camero Concept Bumblebee (original, not from hero set) and it's not assembled properly either. I didn't realize it until I read your post. I just naturally thought the heels didn't go down. Anyway, I fixed them with a screwdriver like you said. Thanks for the info.

The heels are fine. They're supposed to be movie accurate

They were clearly upside down and on the wrong feet, I even checked the L and R molded into the doors to be sure, also if you look at the details molded into them on what was the bottom, then look at the fact that there are mold sprue spots and the L and R on top (which was supposed to be the bottom), it leads me to believe they were not intended to be attached the way they were, plus once you swap and flip them BB is much more stable and still transforms properly.

Yeah, they're supposed to point up. But it does sound like your's was missassembled.

They should point up, like the yellow parts on the back of BB's heels in this pic.

As I posted earlier, I have to disagree, why would they mold the details on the bottom, and leave the mold "posts" and L and R indicators on the top?

Also, they were on the wrong feet.

The beauty is, you can still do that, but you also have the option of flipping them down for increased stability.

Simple, the yellow heel peices fold up.

The increased stability is good, especialy for complex poses, but I can't image it's works well for the vehicle mode.

    Here's a pic showing what I mean:

The yellow heels on the Concept BB should be pointing up.

The heels aren't meant to be flat, they're meant to point up.

Mine wouldn't even flip down that far, they were stuck at about a 45 degree angle, and it still works perfectly in car mode - I'll try to post pics tomorrow.

If they sit flush in car mode and only fold down about 45 degrees, they are correct, as they're supposed to point up.

I'll post pics in the morning, they are still flush in car mode, and now they can fold all the way down. :)

Here's what they should look like.

Sorry for shit pic, but that's what you get from a shit camera.:)

I've tried it your way, and it looks silly, like he's got lone flat boards for feet. This way, he looks like he has real feet with real ankles.

Here is what I am talking about, the black like with the arrow is how far the tab would go down on mine before, it would get that far and just stop and move no further, nearly the same position in robot and car mode:

Exactly, because it's supposed to flip up. I don't know how he got it down in that pic. (Maybe his is missassenbled, or he forced it)

It's on a hinge because it's supposed to fold up, not down.

I can get mine to 90 degrees without any trouble. I can't conclude anything without any real pics from D_C

Mine don't fold all the way down in bot mode unless you force it. I keep them up because it looks better and he has no balance issues as it is. I always assumed it was supposed to be assembled like it is.

You get no arguement from me, there. Of course, I'm not going to fix mine yet, as I'm so tired I can feel the bags under my eyes.:(

OK, so here we go (pictures taken at work so excuse the quality)

They still fold up properly in car mode:

Here they are from the size to show they still fit flush with everything:

Now, in robot mode they can be folded all the way down:

Or left up for a more movie accurate look:

I see what you mean, but I still don't think that's how it was meant to look. It doesn't really give BB any extra stability, as it is just too small and he already has long feet. And it isn't very accurate at all. Though I deffinately see where you're coming from.

I'm still going to leave mine the way they are, as they're much more accurate that way.

That's cool, it seems to make mine 100% more stable, he kept falling over before I did this.
