Don't they mean he's dominating toy department shelves? Every single Deluxe and Cyberverse BB is still readily available in the UK - ie, he's not selling. At all.

Awesome. I hope parents and grandparents and uncles and aunties and cousins and neighbours take this list seriously and buy up all the shelfwarming 'Bees. They aren't bad toys anyway, and should be appreciated (if the kids don't have him already....)

I happen to love Leader Bee- he's big, detailed, reasonably articulated, and has lots to offer for a kid at play. Great car mode, and of course the huge, fun weapon accessory that adds to both modes. I think it's a great toy, and a great collectible as well.

I'm perfectly OK with my leader bee. Had battle ops until recently, and aside from dotm bee's hugeass light-and-sound pack, It's an excellent toy.
I can see this being a great toy for kids. Makes perfect sense to me.

Let this serve as a reminder why Hasbro doesn't do everything we say....it's cause we sure as shooting ain't the majority.

Not my choice...I prefer BB Bee over that thing any day...I don't like any of the oversized Bees, not the Leader, and sure as hell not the Ultimate POS...either version.

OK since when has Bumblebee overtaken Prime as a kids favorite Transformer...Prime was always mine, and still is...to many Bumblebees...way too many.

No idea how that became the winner seeing the electronic pack is pretty much dead weight we have to pay at least extra 15 dollars to this toy's real value.

Jettison the electronic (thank god we can do that) and he's decent, but with it on he's hardly a splendid toy.

Obviously kids aren't as acutely tuned to keeping Hasbro honest like we adult collectors, so having this item at the top of this years kid x-mas wish list is forgiveable, but I found this toy extraordinarily lazy and uninspired. Sorry Hasbro, but that's how I feel.

The sound/play attacheable backpack? - Snorr
Simply upscaling the Human Alliance figure with a few tweeks- Ho-Hum

Sorry, but I could see through this figure from day one. Too bad kids aren't as savvy. But if it means more Transformers going forward, because Hasbro's coffers are filled- WINNING!

Same here in Italy: I haven't seen a TF toy warming shelves like that since Rotf Demolishor (which I liked) and Scalpel... You can find him and Ironhide almost everywhere for € 35-39, when normal price for a leader is € 69.

I can think of 3 main reasons for that:

1)ridiculously high prices in Europe in general: e.g. €24 for a deluxe? (Are you serious?)
    2)financial crisis
3)I don't know elsewhere, but here Hasbro is paying its dues for a very unwise marketing policy: unlike what they did with DOTM, during movie '07 and rotf you could hardly see any commercial running on TV. But now it's already too late: although hard to admit for a Tf fan, Transformers are no longer a popular toy among younger children (wonder what the popular ones are? Check the short listed items mentioned in this thread...), and unlike the US the fan base here is not wide enough to ensure commercial success...
Maybe that's way DOTM wave 1 toys is all you can find in most shops. Some could buy them in big stocks just to be able to sell them for "cheap": €19.90!
