Huh. Looks... Unfinished. Like he still had to have the car parts added on or something. Althought if this is indeed the "finished" and fully transforming version, I think Hasbro's goona have a heck of a time making that turn into a camaro (or whatever it is he transforms into now.)

Nope. Looks like Cheetor, not Bumblebee.

It's too far removed from people think of when they think TFs or Bumblebee. I showed this to my brother, who liked TFs as a kid, but isn't a hardcore fan now and he said, "That doesn't look like Bumblebee."

Images like this make me worry about this movie.

ITS FAN MADE! ITS NOT REAL! ITS NOT EVEN ACCURATE! HE DREW IT BACKWARDS!

    *pant*

Ok, listen up, I'm only going to say this once. Now pay attention.

Elsewhere over at Don Murphys board, drew up that sketch and posted it in This Topic.

He based it on the leaked Bumblebee photo from awhile back, but he made one critcal mistake: He thought Bumbles was lying face-down, when he was lying face up. So that's not even accurate.

In the same thread, Terminal Hamster made a more accurate representation, Here.

But keep in mind, these are both based on a model that was being disassembled, and are most likely not accurate to the final product. Now calm down.

This is exactly what I was afraid of: endoskeletons in bits of loose armor. As I've said before, the design asthetic needs to be less Terminator, and more Robocop.

The design doesn't look alien, it just looks clumsy and awkward.

I like it, but I agree with everyone else he is unfinished and needs his car parts to be put on him. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Guys, Master Fwiffo is right. This isn't the concept art, it is a fan made interpretation based on the photo, and it was posted on Don Murphy's board.

That said, I may be a "rabid Geewunner", but I think the design looks great, even if it is backwards. I would be perfectly happy with something similar to this design. Too bad it probably won't have the horns since they weren't on the photo. It might, but I would guess not.

I think you're confusing the generally mild response here with one of (I assume) insanity from Don's board.

Dear God, if anything let Prime look a little like Prime in bot mode..........Just let the head and mouthplate stay classic.

Am I in the minority if I sort of... want to wait until the movie to see what the bots look like? I kind of like the whole surprise factor, I might just cut myself out of the loop to preserve it.

Yes, we know it's fan made. We know it's based off the leaked photo of a possibly incomplete robot. That doesn't mean folks can't comment on the drawing.

    Stop panting.

Yeah....I'm not a member at Don's boards so those links areuseless to me.

But either way, from the set pics, Bumblebee still looks like a skeleton. I can only hope the armour somehow wraps around his "bones", otherwise he's pretty defenceless.

I still think that anything that looks skeletal on the prop Bumblebee wouldnt actually be his insides if he was real. Its more of just a funky external body shape instead of his guts showing with yellow flaps of armor over it. Thats how I see it at least. Plus, its not like Transformers are heavily armored anyways... it always only took one shot or slash from one to seriously injure another.

Hmmm... I recently watched a show about a guy who murdered someone, was sentenced capital punishment and was executed.

But before his execution, he donated his body to science. Then after his execution, doctors froze his body for the purpose of slicing it up, to get a complete inside view of the huuman body from the top of the head to the bottom of his feet.

As I watched the scientists carrying various sections of frozen body to slice, I found myself with equal measures of revolt and fascination.

I have the same feelings with this sketch as a possible direction for the TF bodies: disgusting, yet intriguing.
