Bumblebee Camaro at OC Barrett-Jackson GM Display

    Hey guys, I was covering the Orange County Barrett-Jackson Classic Automobile auction and snapped some shots of the "hero car" Bumblebee Camaro taking up the back corner of the GM booth.

    You could take your picture with the car in all sorts of action poses as they had one of those multiple camera setups (similar to how they filmed the "bullet cam" for "The Matrix").

    Look closely. The door handles aren't real. They're molded pieces of chrome literally glued to the body. The black shading around the handle is merely paint to give it a 3-dimensional look.

    What's interesting is how the various previous Bumblebee iterations helped influence the design of the ZL1 556-horsepower top-of-the-line Camaro.
