He's a cool deluxe that still doesn't exist in these parts, and never has. Though I do find it odd that Barricade made his first peg appearance in months today. And not the grey one either, the full-fledged movie version.
It's becoming more common. Last time I was at Wal-Mart I saw five. Now, granted, it was the first time I'd ever seen one in person, but still, it's not the hardest thing in the world to come across like it was a little while ago. Glad you got one though!
they are more common now, but they still go fast when they are found what I am finding rare now is some of the other characters. Im my case, Wreckage, Voyager Blackout and Iron Hide. I havent seen those guys for atleast 2+ months.
I really want this guy... him, Leader Brawl and Leader Megatron are the three actual movie cast figures I don't have (and, the only three movie toy molds I don't have, barring Real Gears and the Target exclusive basic repaints)... Still can't find him anywhere... and my girlfriend wants one too.
I bought him for only $3.00 at my discount store along w/ 74' Bumblebee in that Evolution of a Hero pack. Battle-damage isn't that bad, so I think those sets are the best chance of getting 09' Bumblebee. He is either all over the place in one store, and gone in the next store, so it is pretty chancy for some people to find this guy. He is a great figure, very poseable, but the only thing with mine is the joints are a little loose.
I have only seen BB in this area once. Both WM got about 6 a piece in and then he was gone. Mainly seen older deluxes since. Now I am seeing the pegs going empty again.
Found mine at Fred Meyer's on sale, they had (HAD) two of them. Guess third times the charm, because this time I bought him. Now, Trade fodder or open?
He's rare in some cities and not others. The two-pack was on the shelves at the Target here for about a month, but I think he's pretty much gone now. I've never seen 08 BB on the pegs at any TRU or Target in NYC, but I did see one 77 BB. Last week, I must have seen every deluxe except BB. My guess is he's still the most scalped, or wasnt included in this wave the same way Leader Prime was left out.
