It'll be PG-13. That's the default rating for big blockbusters anyway. If this came out in the early 2000s, then yes, PG wouldn't be hard to believe, but I don't think that's the case here.

If it is tho, fine, as long as there's robot action and cool stuff, I don't mind.

Well, it would sure be nice to go to see a transformers movie with my kids. Number one walked out of the last knight because of the Game of Thrones style unnecessary medieval violence at the start.

My guess if anything there will be one dark/violent scene that will set this movie square in PG-13 territory. Maybe we see the end result of a Decepticon raid on a human camp or something.

I'd much rather Transformers movies be PG-13 than PG.

I greatly prefer a story about warring alien robots to have the violence upped to PG-13 levels.

    This looks PG.
I’m always down for PG-13 or more.

    But I’ll take this.

Transformers: Bumblebee trailer is the first G rated Transformers movie trailer for Ontario since the first teaser trailer for Transformers: Dark Of The Moon (the one with the moon mission and golden Sentinel). Other than 2 trailers for the first Transformers movie and the aforementioned trailer for DOTM, the rest of the trailers were all PG.

I'm fine either way. I don't need a PG-13 rating as long as the movie still has appropriate stakes and threats.

Honestly, I could do with a little wholesome in Transformers these days.

PG rating isn't bad. Usually, the difference between PG and PG-13 lies in cussing, sexual innuedos, drinking and drug references and graphic depictions of violence. When we're talking Transformers I don't think those are necessary things for better storytelling. Moreover, Transformers are mechanical in nature so it's easier to get away with violence in their case.

Suits me. The M-15 rating the movies have been getting seemed to let them go overboard with stupid bullshit.

To be honest, I don't care as long as the film doesn't go beyond the feared R rating.

However, I think Bumblebee's gonna be more PG than PG13.
