Anyone noticed the difference from the Michael Bay Transformers movies?
Compared to Travis Knights Bumble Bee?  

 

Which isn't neccesarily a bad thing. It looks like it might be competing with that other movie about the giant robot dog and human movie.

 

I find it hard not to be Pg-13. There definitely is gonna Bee enough action and violence for it to be that.

 

You mean as far as the eventual rating goes? Not really, no.

They should be going for a less violent movie, but whether they actually do it is another thing.

 

It's all that Iron Giant feel to it that looks like a PG movie.

 

I would like to see them sacrifice the "PG-13" elements (violence, cursing, sex, whatever) to coerce the emergence of actual substance as a replacement. You don't need explosions and tits to make a good "mature" movie.

 

Before seeing the trailer I was thinking it would be PG-13, but now I'm leaning towards it maybe being rated PG.

 

God I hope so.

 

Kinda like the pirates of the carribean movies, proof positive that you can still have a good adventure flick without having to go waay over the top with stuff like excessive gore and sex scenes. Oh, hopefully there will be no bullet time.

 

It’ll be PG-13, it’s very difficult for a live action movie to get a PG in this day, and age. And it still looks like there’s gonna be plenty of fight scenes.

 

Yeah, but these days PG and PG-13 doesn't really account for much anyway.

 

If they stay away from statutory rape and scrotum jokes then I'd imagine it could even possibly manage a PG.

-No crude humor
-no references to drugs
-No pedophilia references
-No clanking robot scrotum
-No phallic-shaped bots
-No small bot humping human legs
-No dogs humping

I’m going to go out on a limb and guess it will be PG.

 

Thats what im hoping for we just need a change for these TF movies

To be honest, thanks to cheap visuals it looks more like a porno parody (what's that thing at 0:45???), so probably NC-17.

Honestly I want the Bee/Autobot stuff to be PG and the Decepticon/Villain stuff to be HARD PG to PG-13, rounding out to PG-13 overall. Like I want the Decepticons to be scary and fearsome.

Although honestly, while I’ve been pushing for a super-dark Transformers movie for a while, this trailer REALLY warmed me up to the idea of something lighter and softer. Like if it’s a heartwarming Speilbergian Iron Giant type deal I’m all for it because really that’s a lot of what the ‘07 Movie WANTED to be but Bay just wasn’t restrained. Also with movies in general getting darker and grittier it’d be nice to see a change of pace
