I wonder if he was getting jumped into a gang....but then again I haven't been keeping up wth the story.

 

The lady walking away from the situation and not giving a second look isn't very surprising; it's something that happens all the time. It's called diffusion of responsibility. The more people that are there, the less people feel individually responsible to intervene. Just Google Kitty Genovese

 

you can be charge with attempted murder or pre mediated whether you planned to or not.

there intentions may have been to rough him up, but what if when he was trying to get a way or defend himself he slipped on the snow and bashed his head open? or one of them kicking in the chest broke a rib and punctured his heart or lung? coincidences do happen.

you bet your ass if any of those things happened they wold get tried for it. they planned to beat him up, whatever else would happen whether planned or not would get tried as premeditated because how can they say they didnt plan it?

plus add the fact they are black. you hear more stories about blacks in these situations due to stereotypes and that most of this behavior is associated with blacks. not trying to be rude but that its true.
