    BADASS.

    B a d a double s!

Joss is still the man, great dialogue, great art, great set up! Like Buffy? Get this, fabulous. The lack of budget constraints on a comic means - uber awesome.

Since you weren't wrong about Nextwave I shall look into this.

However you have recently been failing at life so I am somewhat cautious.
If it turns out to be a lemon I'm going to want compensation.

Eventually, I will have seen all of the Buffy TV series. By then, this will hopefully be out in TPB or hardcover. I'd probably be lost if I read it now.

I thought it was pretty sweet. Very interesting continuation of Buffy and pals' stories, especially after an army of Slayers has been created after the events of Season 7. Is it wrong of me to think that giant Dawn was kinda cute? I also liked their referring to a story from Angel's Season 5 with one of Buffy's clones(?) dating "The Immortal."

Any mention of the Angel finale? Not Fade Away has left me hanging for a few years now...

The Angel finale won't get resolved in this series anyways. IDW are publishing that and have the rights to that series. I think he might get to make a cameo or two, but don't expect him to take centre stage.

Good in a way, while I also want to know what happened next, Angel had a habit of taking over when a story focused on him. This isn't his story, it's Buffy's.

    BUT HE'S SO DREAMY!

And I want Angel to stay in the IDW-verse, but are his books in the continuity of the TV? They don't seem to be.

I wasn't all that impressed, but I'll stick around for a few issues (unless the scheduling falls off as badly as Astonishing X-Men). While it is kinda neat to see what's coming next for Buffy and the Scoobies, I'm not really enjoying this "Army of Slayers" thing. Buffy always worked best when she was a normal kid who had to deal with saving the world all the time. Captain Buffy and the Slayer Commandos is really far off from that, and I'm just not as interested in it.

Still, it was nice to see Buffy and Xander again (Dawn, not so much). I look forward to Willow and Giles showing up again, too. And if Whedon can bring Colossus back from the dead, he can damn well bring Anya back, too.

So I'm on board for now, but I'm not really loving it so far.

His hair was too good for that.

Loved it! Finally got my tubby little digits on a copy. Loved everything about it.

Highlights include but are not limited to:

    - Buffy missing teh sexxors
    - Xandor channeling Nick Fury
    - Faux Buffys around the world (makes the ep of Angel where Angel and Spike stalk Buffy in Paris hilarious in retrospect)
    - AMY!
