Aaaand this completely ruined any sanity I might have had next week:
Coming Soon - YouTube
um, for something so short for a date upcoming so quickly and I haven't heard anything about another Bueller movie so...you sure?
Only 10 seconds and yet I'm excited for it.
EDIT: MTME: The video info mentions a super bowl commercial, so that is what the date may be for.
Naw, I know its probably just for a Superbowl Ad. But we can dream, can't we?
Yeah it's going to be an ad for a supebowl product most likely, not Ferris Bueller the Later years,
Now Ferris has to deal with a bank out to get his house and a teenage daughter who's dating.
At least I hope it's not another movie. Just wouldn't work without John Hughes.
I...don't know how to feel about this. I mean, I love the first one, but I really don't think I want a sequel.
It's a honda ad, guys....
Ferris Bueller Super Bowl Ad Likely A Honda Commercial - MTV Movie News| MTV
It looks like the purple horse's front legs are rotating with each other. Left leg goes up, moves to the right and down before becoming the left leg again. Pretty freaky.
Possibly she's purposely trying to cross her legs? I don't know for sure what the animators intended. It's just supposed to convey a negative state of freaking out. I had my hopes up that this could have been a actual sequel, so hearing that news disappointed me.
Oh thank God. For a second, I thought Hollywood shoved its head further up its ass.
Yeah, I guess it's a good thing because they'd probably screw it up big time. Oh well, at least I can still dream of a amazing sequel that'll never happen...
I'd rather have a commercial, rather than a sequel that could ruin the first movie for me.
I think a sequel would be awesome. That type of comedy is a hit again thanks to the Hangover movies.
I wonder if the commercial is a "hit" if they would consider doing a sequel?
Ferris skipping work at the big downtown lawfirm and trying to avoid being seen by his boss, coworkers & the partners from another firm he was supposed to have "the big meeting" with that day, getting into some nasty situations inappropriate for a man of his age. It's not a movie I'd beg for, but I think it could be done well.
I watched it and I found myself smiling, if nothing else, old age and employment has not dulled Ferris's sense of play and mischief and nor has his love of these things interferred with adult success.
Or something like that
You know a sequel could actually work.
I'd be curious to see it made.
Both of these! It would be a cool kind of embracing your inner teen story. Gah I wish this were actually being made now. :/
Well the commercial is being directed by Todd Phillips who directed The Hangover 1 and 2, Due Date, and Old School.
