I remember it being announced last summer or maybe it was during the fall that Budiansky were going to do a comic mini series taking place between Season 2 and the orginal Transformers movie.

Anyone remember this? TFwikis Budiansky page doesn't mention it and I havn't heard nothing since I first heard about it.
Does anyone know? Has it been canceled or what?

I was really looking forward to reading it.

Aw, got my hopes up there for a second.

I've not heard anything in the first place so it might be more wishful thinking than anything else.

Never heard of this, but the closest we've got is DW's Generation One.

Unfortunately, I only know of it, but have never read it myself. It was included as an exclusive pack-in with the Madman Transformers DVD box set as far as I know.
