I think you may be mistaking the Atelier Sai BGC figures and the newer Yamato BGC figures w/Motoslaves.

AS BGC are larger and don't come with Motoslaves. Probably about 16cm. Without opening the box IIRC the figures are also rubbery PVC. Good luck finding this set. I'm still missing Nene.

Yamato BGC are smaller 8cm and the Motoslave 12cm. Love that it's transformable but parts swapping is needed to combine the girls with the motoslaves. Arms on the girls are also limited articulation.

Also, not that it may matter much to you, all of these come from the original BGC OVA and not from 2040.

Original blows away 2040. The animation was superior and the the songs were better.

the original set of bubblegum crisis figures, are not that great.

at least not from what i have heard.

the only thing that i like better about that version, is that the heads can switch so you can "remove" their helmets.

other then that, they are far less possible, and the quality is far less, while they ran for about the same price, too.

plus they didn't come with the bikes.

The Aoshima is being custom painted (rather poorly I might add), so that's why it's not the standard blue. The blue pieces you do see are the original plastic that makes up the entire figure.

    Some updated pictures:

The Aoshima Kit is un-painted, so you have to paint it unless you want everything to be a solid color. The Motoslave is a little better but I don't have it finished yet.

I own all the Yamato, all the Atelier Sai, and one Aoshima. In the pictures, I have the Yamato Motoslaves in front of the Atelier Sai figures. The Metallic edition motoslave replaces the original Yamato in front of Priss with the original Yamato Priss and Motoslave transformed in the background behind the Atelier Sai figures. The Yamato Knight Sabers and Boomer are fighting on the right side of the display. The AD Police figures from the Yamato Boomer set are sitting on each end of the display. The Aoshima Priss and Motoslave are not part of the display, though the motoslave will probably go in once it's completed.

If you get any of the Yamato figures, make sure to get the Metallic Priss and Motoslave first. It has the best paint applications as well as tighter joints. It is the best of the five. If you like that one then I would pair it with the Boomer AD Police set. The other bikes are nice, but aren't all that special unless you want a complete collection.
