BTS has released some early plans for cassette bots to complement their impending BTS-04 Sonicron release. Please note that these are only pictures of a proposed design in an early phase and may not materialize into an actual release.

I see Rumble hasn't been feeding Ravage...

    Pardon me:

    I see Not-Rumble hasn't been feeding Not-Ravage...

Looks promising, but then again, so did their Sonicron initial art designs. I remain skeptically optimistic.

Looks fantastic. I can't wait for the Rumble/Frenzy concept to get out and watch the chaotic thread that ensues.

Swept-back wings on any birdies is a must.

    Decent rat-bat would be delicious.

More likely to be lightpiping given the potentially tiny size of these.

Seconded. The PE birds left me cold with their weird straight wings and not very aerodynamic/sleek design cues. This not-Ravage looks a bit on the skinny side but if it can combine the articulation of the Device Label Ravage and the 3D thickness/engineering of Universe Hound's Ravage, might be worth picking up.

Pretty redundant with the Hound's Ravage. Sonicron was so ugly as a final product my hopes for this one are very low.

Yes, very reminiscent of Hound's ravage. Looks like he may have more articulation in the joints though, which was universe/classic ravage's weak spot. However, this is low on my list of priorities.

    Aww yeah, that looks promising!
I was recently contemplating picking up a G1 Ravage but now I'll wait to see how this'll turn out.
Sold my Hound and Ravage a while ago, REALLY disliked the head on that dawg.

I called it. With a cassette holding Soundwave will come new Classics Cassettes.

Ravage wouldn't be my first pick to promote seeing as we already have a Classics version.

This thing looks to be very much like it but with a lot more articulation and side rockets.

The only way we will be getting these is if BTS 04 sells well enough. To all you fence sitters, take the plunge and buy. I think for the simple fact alone that high sales will get us cassettes we should buy this thing.

At the end of the day it is a large sized figure, it has its flaws but it isn't horrible and the price is only $60.

And to anyone going on about quality...we really don;t know what the final product is like, the only review we got was from the Botcon version which was a sample run not the final product.

Support a Soundwave that holds Cassettes and we get new Cassettes :)

Thing is, we have no pictures from the side, so no telling how thin this thing is going to be.

however the Soundblaster model with a Laserbeak..... Now we are talking must buy!

We do have pictures from the side and there is a grey tab that sticks way out.

This thing has similar dimensions to G1 Soundwave.

Here is a link to a review of an early version of the figure that was intended as a promotional tool not for sales...this is not the FINAL product but I assueme not much would change in the final other than slightly tighter joints...oh and he does have knees lol

*edit* Looking at the review pics again. This thing will sell out. Maybe not right away but once people start getting it and taking cool pics with it, interest will rise.

This thing is big and when you look at it straight on (which is how I display figures anyway) it looks sweet. You get a lot more figure here than with the Hercules figures and for $40 less!!!!

"because where would Soundwave be without Laserbeak and Ravage"

He would be in Dark of The Moon. Too bad Sonicron has it's flaws.

Not a fan of how skinny the legs are, (or rather how big the feet are, really) but the Device label is so expensive and hard to find, and I need a G1 Ravage...

I'd prefer a Buzzsaw or a Frenzy mold first.. hope they come next, along with their repaints and maybe remolds for autobot cassettes (steeljaw, rewind and eject at least)
