Sonicron is a shame, the plastic and overall quality is too poor for the price... i don't even want to transform it coz fear of breaking it...

 

The blue one is waiting for me. Won't make a decision on the black one until the blue one is in hand. Typically a review occurs within a month or less of the product's availability. But I haven't found a pre-order link anywhere.

Do they still plan to do a black version?

I notice their web site now lists a Sonicron Wave II, which is still blue. Is this one with QC fixes maybe?

I'd love to see a Silver version too, so it looks just like a real Sony M-200MC voice recorder.

 

I will contact them and try to get the skinny on it, it's very odd that this ain't happening, specially with the jump in QC, it's possible they want to make Sonicron Wave II get more exposer before the black repaint. Wave II Sonicron is what the black version had fixes but now in it's Classic blue.
