    Hey Everyone,

I felt the need to bolster the Decepticon ranks! I still have more painting to do, and decals to add, but I thought all of you might enjoy seeing this.

The color I went after was more from the cartoon model versus the toy.

After this is completed, I will be making Starscream and Skywarp, as well as Springer and Trailbreaker to name a few. Still waiting on some parts to finish off my Ratchet custom, which I will post a gallery once it is done.

Other than the point of him not being a jet anymore, let me know your thoughts. I used Tamiya spray paints for the first time versus Krylon Fusion and I like the results way better. The gloss finish comes out the same as the Binaltech paint finishes. More expensive, yeah, but the execution of coat explains itself.

I'll admit, that finish does look good. The biggest reason fusion is so popular is that it's durable for plastic that rubs together. Is this stuff as durable as Fusion?

I've transformed this a lot to test it and there has been no chipping at all whatsoever.

I agree with the aforespoken on the finish; that's an impressive finishing sheen for a non-fusion color. Looks great.

Do you have to be careful with it? Does this brand of paint also bond to the plastic like fusion or is it just a really tough run-of-the-mill paint?

It seems to bond.......where I have parts, like the doors for example.....where they rub tight, there is no paint chipping or wearing at all whatsoever......I am always careful w/ transforming, even on the regular made stuff......Not where I am "walking on egg shells" persay though.

I think it is also extremely tough. This custom is not made from an Alternator, but a Binaltech.
