A few more commission pieces here.
Grimlock is a simple repaint of the Binaltech, in a classic '70s Boss color scheme with help from Reprolabels awesome sticker set. These pics were actually taken a few months ago with my old camera, so they're not the best.







Camshaft is a minor repaint with a new head heavily modded from Alt Prime. Autobot logo decals have also been added. I'm particularly happy with the way the blue-tinted windows came out. With Camshaft I've started taking pics with a new camera and better light set-up, tho I'm still seriously thinking of building a light box.

I've been waiting to see someone do a Classics G2 Grimlock, but I never considered an Alternator. That's really impressive looking!

 

I'v been wanting to do the exact same thing with grimlock since that reprolabels set came out I just can't find another one. The only diffrence would be a darker blue and some gold.
I'v also got an idea for a G2 prime.

Theres a mustang down the street here this week with almost the same damn paint job - VERY nice job man - ditto on the factory sentiment.

 

I like everything but the giant autobot logos. The Camshaft head looks awesome.

that makes me wanna buy a KO grimlock, and do the same thing. I didnt even think that the grabber blue paint makes a g2 grimlock

 

This would be the only think I don't particularly like about this custom (and others that have faction symbols visible in alt mode for the most part [there are some exceptions though]).

Aside from that, I LOVE everything you've done! As others have said, your paint apps are super and the concepts for each are equally great. Nice work!

I actually agree as well, I like that the Alts have no visible symbols in vehicle mode. However, the guy I make these for likes them, so on they go.

Yeah the Prime head is a great base for Camshaft. Perhaps not immediately noticeble is that I also made whole new faceplate as well, and in the end could have probably really used any head as base.
Also, it's funny, but I've got plans for a Downshift nearly identical to yours for sometime in the future, and seeing what it he'll look like, I like it!
