This is awesome news, just when I was starting to get into Alts/BTs again. I already have a complete Alt line, but was gonna go for the BTs that never got any Alt love, and those recolored KO... full of score.

 

Pre-ordered Bluestreak. Gotta have all the Subarus! The stock photo on BBTS makes the blue look a little darker than Smokescreen's rally blue color. Could just be the lighting, but it would make a nice difference between them if it is darker. Also, it looks as though Bluestreak's forearms and upper legs are white and not grey like Smokey's. Again, could just be the pic.

Now, if they would only release a red Subaru.  

 

Nice to see some more Binaltech! But personally I don't buy duplicate character in an alternate color, I see no point in this. Maybe one day they'll release a red and/or a white Scion, or blue Civic, now I'll buy them  

 

Perhaps not the most exciting two to see bring back the line but if enough people support it, it just means there may be a future. I want a BT Mirage sooo bad!!! I've pre-ordered them already. BT's are really the only line of Transformers that I get excited about (MP's as well of course).

 

And people will still buy them. I swear, they could repaint the Scion mold in complete brown, name it Turd Burgler, and some people would still giddy like a school girl and buy it up.

Just say "NO" to bad repaints.

I agree, but these repaints are pretty good.

Bluestreak is a bit bland, but it is a nice color for the impreza. And a silver RX8 Speed is just pure sex.

All IMO, of course.

 

If they just HAD to go with dull repaints they should've at least stayed the hell away from the Subaru, there's already been too many damn versions of that

 

i'm just curious, for those of you who consider these repaints to be bad or dull or unexciting or whatever other words are being used... what car colors do you find to be good or exciting? fuchsia? neon orange?

 

These are sure purchases already, but I would have preferred a red WRX. It easily be made into Cliffjumper. Other than that I am fine with it, and would buy a BT repaint before 9of10 other lines.

Well "Bluestreak" is just Smokescreen without the racing decals, and that = very dull. Jazz...same problem some people have with the Henkei line and it's use of chrome, except it's the whole fig this time. Very tacky looking.

 

that's fine. all subjective. smokescreen served a purpose as it was a wrc. i happen to like the clean blue on this in comparison.

except it's not chrome. it's a bright silver. it's called sunlight silver metallic. the image looks chromish, but it won't be like that guaranteed.

 

Hmmm... if it didn't cost so much, I'd be sorely tempted by blue Bluestreak there; I no longer have any Alts, and the Subarus (well, Smokescreen and Silverstreak at least) were my favorite figures from that line.

 

What about Autorooper? He was an RX-8. That makes four.

 

You have no idea how badly I want to see that; however, I don't know if it'll ever happen considering Hasbro can't get the name.

On-topic: I really like Bluestreak. Very sleek. Definitely picking that bad boy up. Jazz...I'm not sure about yet. Need to see better pics of him before I decide.

I did this repaint the very day I first found Streak (Definitely needed the Diaclone treatment).

I'll probably still get both though.
