Just got BT-17 Black Convoy, and I have to say, I have 2 Nemesis Primes and a Kiss Players Convoy, and these colors are better than Nemesis Prime, and with the metal parts he beats them all. Seems like metal is what he was designed for.
Except for one little thing. Due to his weight he keeps sinking through his feet. Anyone got any ideas to stop this?

Sinking through his feet? You mean his legs keep compressing at the knees, or...?

Not sure what you mean, but mine is completely tight and sturdy. No problems w/ the knees. I guess you could add some nail polish or superglue to the joints to tighten them if you needed to.

No, the knees are fine, no problem. With feet I mean actual feet.

He tips over or something b/c his feet won't stay locked out? If it is something like that, then I give the same suggestion, nail polish or super glue.

no, he doesn't tip over, he just sinks a bit... looks a bit silly. It's nothing major. I can see if I still have some of that stuff around. When I just move them by hand they feel tight though, this guy has some weight issues. ;)

Freedom from plastic captivity is the right of all Optimi

The toe parts are not really designed to take a whole lot of weight, it's true. They're really more use as a stabilizer than as a weight bearing surface... I use the back of the tailgate (with the spoiler folded inward to keep it from collapsing inwards) as his foot base. He's steady as a rock on it, though on occasion I obsess and worry about paint wear at the point where the spoiler presses against the tailgate....

Yeah, but he's not an Optimi, right? He's an evil Optimi! You better leave him trapped 'cause you never know what he might be up to at night. Better place some true Primes around him to watch him while you sleep.

What you describe is actually in the instructions.

As for opening, yes I did. I'm also throwing away the plastic bubble parts. Wish this one had a nice box like the other BT figures. I do have an unopened Nemesis Prime, but that's just because I have 2. I got this one to complete my BT collection, not to keep closed.

Damn straight. Although I will admit to keeping the (crappy) packaging just in case I ever want to sell him. Not likely, but at this price, I thought it wise.

If the packaging was Takara type I would have as well, but it was Hasbro type. Plastic bubble parts that need to be cut or torn off, twisties, backer parts for the twisties to go through, lots of tape covering this backing, all the ridiculous stuff. No way to keep that nice enough to keep. The purple card box part is all that's staying.

    :lol  :lol  :lol

Really, you should see what goes on with all my evil Optimi...raiding the other toys' parts, jacking the other Alts' rims, and other crazy stuff. But I have even more regular Optimi to keep them in check :)
