well it's not everyday you see a small city drop from the sky, launch a wave of fighters then *bamf* causing an atmospheric "hole" :duel

    Oh COME on!

That was the 2nd largest tactical asset the human race had!

(well I guess it's more definnative than the orignal series, still like to think Commander Airport, still out there raising Cain)

Or another ram headlong into a Cylon Basestar. In summary, both Adamas have HUEG balls!

Still not keen on the loss of Pegasus however she died a noble death.

And the old man is one crazy Mo Fo.

The battlestar jumping into the atmosphere was some of the coolest shit. GREAT EPISODE! I figure Baltar's role in the cylons will quickly escalate now that he's with them.

I for one hope they keep the whole god beings out of the series. I dont see how they could work them in without being silly.

too late, they've already made religion a major part of the series.

    I'm specifically refering to Iblis.

And if they do introduce The Lords of Kobol, the Angels, and others. If they revise it as well as they've handled everything else it could be very compelling.

I just dont want it to turn into what stargate did with villians getting increased super powers until it's just basically them fighting gods. I would give them the benefit of the doubt though.

Awsome episode. Those battle scenes were just amazing. I just wish Gaeta (sp)had pulled the trigger when he had a chance.

Yeh that didn't make much sense see ing as the Pegasus was a advanced Battlestar, and yet the Galactica could take a pounding and survive.......even after skydiving.

I do have to credit this episode with getting me back into Galactica again. The show's seemingly unending darkness had left me largely uninterested in seeing what happened next, but this episode reminded me that this show really is worth watching. If nothing else, the space battles are some of the best I've ever seen, probably rivaled only by the last few seasons of Deep Space Nine.

Well, I'm betting that the "timeline" in the battle was stretched out a bit while watching the Galactica and shortened for the Pegasus. On top of that Lee took the Pegasus in for a head on and then let her go full steam into the Cylon Base Star.

Only after they abandoned her did it crash into a basestar, and for bonus points the debris from the crash smash another basestar, not sure if it was destroyed though.

Yeah, but the Bridge was pretty thrashed at that point. I'm betting that along with the auto-tracking guns they locked in the navigation at one Base Star and let 'er rip.

Most likely they left most of the crew along with the fighter with the civy fleet.

No doubt. You don't go on a one way trip without stripping your personel down to bare minimums.

As I said, I'm not fond of the really dark themes of the show, but I'll be damned if I didn't cheer when Tigh killed that damn bitch. :D
