I did enjoy the first X-Men movie, and he's not a bad director. He directed one of my favorite movies, Apt. Pupil. It could be good.

Well, he did do the two GOOD X-Men films. Might be interesting if this is in the same vein as those.

Awesome. Superman Returns had more of a scripting problem than a directing problem. That movie was gorgeous design-wise and visually. And he's done alot of cool movies. Valkyrie, Apt Pupil, the Usual Suspects, etc. Good for him. Awesome news.

Ugh, I wonder which X-men they'll butcher to make them into a first class with the rest of the movie's originals.

They'll probably throw Wolverine in there. Unless it's just the original 5 (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Beast and Angel) I want nothing to do with it. The first two X-Men movies were good, but not great, and the third was dreadful. I also want costumes more faithful to the comics.

That's definitely some nice news. He did well with before, so he should do at least decently this time. Here's hoping it's the Magneto origins movie we're supposed to be getting at some point. It's extremely unlikely, but I'm hoping that they make at least one movie without Wolverine in it at all.

Considering the relative ages of the first 5 in the movie continuity. That's not happening. I can see Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Beast being in there. But Iceman and Angel would be toddlers (practically).

I don't really care anymore. I wish Fox would stop making X-men movies and let the movie rights go back to Marvel.

I'm hoping they have more x-men like costumes this time, and less of the silly leather junk. More along the lines of astonishing.

He is a good director and i've liked most things hes done, the first two x men were great but then he had to go off and make that terrible superman movie...

Good news. Though I'm still not sure if this is a complete reboot (hope not, unless they go with the original 5), or a New Mutants kind of thing.

You mean those X-suits that are a cross between the movie leather and comic spandex. That are in fact supposed to be form fitting leather suits like they used in the movie? And wouldn't look that different than the movie suits on real people.

1st xmen was disappointing, 2nd was decent, but superman returns was ok; it wouldve been better had they not made it into a re-make of original, in a way.
