Hi guys, while taking my micron off of the model kit I noticed an orange flek on my leg, it was one of the pieces that help connect the micron leg to the body. I have pictures of it and probably picture 4 is the best as it is it in robot form showing only half of the piece that can connect to the leg. Anyway to fix this? Thanks.

Do you mean a sprue remnant - ie. something that's not supposed to be part of the Micron? Nail clippers are fairly useful for taking those off.

i've heard of this happening to two others...not sure what they did as well, but if it's a common problem, you might be able to ask around. I think Optibotimus on Youtube has a broken leg on his as well

Find a ball joint or a rod (from gundam kit perhaps) that can fit the Micron's leg, then drill a hole through the leg to install the ball joint/rod.

First, "macro mode" is needed when taking these kinds of pictuers.

Second, did you save that fleck? Can you glue it back together?

Finally, you _might_ be able to get a replacement part from where you bought it.

Had a very similar problem happen to mine. The pegs on Ira's body that his limbs snap onto aren't solid pegs, they're two thin slivers of plastic that end in a mushroom cap. Then trying to attach one of the legs on mine, those slivers nearly sheared clean off the body and are only holding on by the thinnest slice of plastic imaginable.

I was able to get the leg attached and transform him to cannon mode, which is how he's going to remain for the rest of his existence. With how small this guy is, and how thin the plastic needs to be at certain points, I really don't understand why they didn't use a solid peg for these connections -- seems like a poor design choice to me.

This micron is more fragile then others. For anyone buying it new I recommend using cutters instead of snapping it off. For me, I was lucky enough that it only half-broke off and I was able to snap the legs on and pray it holds.
