Now I don't normally watch this. Its like watching incredibly bad X Factor/Idol TV, and indeed, the off key, off timing, slighty 'off' Star Wars theme playing keyboard guy who thought he could win the show (apparently £100000 prize money and get to perform for the Royal Family at the Royal Variety performance) was a prime example of why I normally don't watch this show.

    However.

I heard on the radio about how a Micheal Jackson tribute act got through. My Curiousity was piqued, so I tracked the clips down on youtube...

    Seriously. Its AWESOME.

The opening Audition. Watch this one first.

Signature then got through into the Semis, and this was the entry...

I hope I'm not alone in watching this show. It is a Reality Talent show, but damn, this was so funny. I hope Signature win.

    Yeah, Signature are great.

I was disappointed that Cheeky Monkeys got through in favour of Flava last night.

I hate my girlfriend for watching this shit.

You're the man of the house. Put your foot down!

    Unless you secretly enjoy it.

Or is this just another reason why you need a second TV?

I really hope they do something -different- for the final. MJ me once, I cheer, MJ me twice and I go... ok.

MJ me three times and well, ya lost me.

How about some Jay Kay? Or Justin?

The curiously cute girl with the crazy sheep dog (probably the most talented dog in the world) got through along with Signature. Signature got through automatically by getting the most votes on what? Sunday? The judges had to decide from between the next two most popular, the dog and some pretty biy who sang broadway with a lisp.

Anyway, the girl and her dog got through.

    Edit
    Their audition

I'm hoping for a crazy MJ/JT/Bollywood comedy danceoff. With breakdancing.

I sort of imagine as I read this thread that this might be what it feels like to come out of a coma. People are talking about thing you basically understand but because you where out of it for so long you don't have a frame of reference.

This Saturday apparently. Whoever wins gets to be part of the Royal Variety performance at the end of the year, so they got lots of time to do something spectacular. Last year some guy who could sing opera (quite well actually) won it and performed.

But I'd like to see something more jazzy this year.

    Breakdancing yoof indeed.

But I think Strike should have just knocked the kids block off to improve their chances.

So far the final line up is pretty good. Hmm. The final could be good, could be tasty.

Ok. This is the third time I'm trying to post this. Piece of crap IE.

    Anyway.

    OMG.

That final was PURE WIN. Well, almost. My favourites.

    Escala.
Wow. I have a weakness for hot birds and orchestral strings. Their Live and Let Die yesterday was fantastic, as was their final entry. Brilliant. I don't know why they didn't win, but if they get a recording contract I'll buy their albums.

    Signature.
Second place! A great upgrade to their audition act. I thought Suliman was actually the best individual dancer there. I still laughed my ass off. And the fact that this was the first time Madhu's parents had seen him live spoke volumes to me, about the struggle they've probably gone through in their own way to get here. Kudos.

    Kate and Gin
They were never going to win it, at the end of the day its amazing what the dog can do, but it doesn't measure up to everyone else. Having said that, they've already been booked for Crufts!

    Nemisis
I really liked these guys. I thought all their performances were fantastic. Its a shame, its not that they were bad, but that everyone else was better.

    Strike
They could have won, but I thought the timing was a little off in the final performance. Which is a shame. Their routine was all kinds of crazy.

    Farly Smith
What a voice. She better get snapped up quick. Throw her a years worth of fine tuning and she'll be the best classical singer I've ever heard. And she's only 12!!! And when she grows up she'll be a cross between Andy (from Reaper) and Hillary Swank.

    George Samson.
The Winner. He's not the best dancer there, (that goes to Signature dude) but the overall performance to that dancy Singin' in the Rain, along with the finish in the rain with all the lighting and stuff... he deserves it.

The other 3... well I can't remember who their names.
